The emphasis of each of our courses is firmly on relaxed, practical photography and through one to one interaction in the field, increasing awareness of how to make stronger, more dramatic images.

Some of the general areas covered are:

Camera settings, light, composition, viewpoint, lenses, filters, development, printing and presentation options and your own aims with regard to your photography.

Following a simple and flexible structure, each course has a maximum of 5 people and one to one can be arranged outside of set course dates. These dates can be seen on another page here.

Great images can be made using all types of camera, from compact to SLR. Some clients are completely new to photography and return several times, whilst others come to develop artistic style and more advanced approaches. Many photographers exceed their expectations by a significant margin with regard to skills, techniques and 'learning to see differently'. It is our aim to make that possible in the most relaxed and enjoyable way. Online support also continues after the course.
